Aeration & Overseed

Lawn maintenance services
Aeration & overseed
At Seasons Lawn Maintenance, we know that a strong and healthy lawn starts from the roots. That’s why our Aeration and Overseeding service is designed to revitalize the turf, improve soil health, and achieve a denser, greener, and more resilient lawn throughout the year.
This service is especially recommended for compacted lawns, areas with bare spots, or weak growth, and it adapts to the specific needs of each property and season.
Aeration and overseeding process
- Soil and lawn evaluation
Before starting, we carry out a detailed lawn inspection to identify compacted areas, zones with poor growth, type of grass, and general soil conditions. This evaluation allows us to define the right timing and the correct technique to achieve the best results.
- Soil aeration
For this process we use professional aeration equipment that removes small cores of soil from the ground. This process:
- Reduces soil compaction
- Allows air, water, and nutrients to reach the roots directly
- Improves fertilizer and irrigation absorption
Aeration creates the ideal environment for the lawn to recover and grow stronger and more evenly.
- Preparation for overseeding
After aeration, we leave the soil cores on the lawn to break down naturally and return nutrients to the soil. This prepares the surface to receive the new seed and improves seed-to-soil contact.
- Strategic overseeding
We perform overseeding using the highest quality seed, previously selected according to the grass type and the local climate conditions. Overseeding is done uniformly to fill in bare areas, improve lawn density, and achieve a greener and more consistent color.
- Post-service recommendations
At the end, we provide clear instructions on watering and aftercare to ensure proper germination and successful growth of the new grass.
Benefits of the aeration and overseeding service
1 - Denser and healthier lawn: Stimulates growth from the roots, resulting in thicker and more resilient turf.
2 - Better water and nutrient absorption: Reduces runoff and allows irrigation and fertilizers to be used more efficiently.
3 - Recovery of damaged areas: Fills in bare or weakened spots, improving the lawn’s uniformity.
4 - Greater resistance to disease and stress: A well-aerated and dense lawn is less prone to pests, disease, and drought.
